The 2014 edition of the "Romania's Greenest Buildings" report has been released by the Romania Green Building Council in collaboration with their research partner for the project: NAI Romania.   The report uses Construction21.eu as a research tool requiring the building owners/project developers to submit the information to the platform to provide transparency and verification of the building project outcome.

The report saw a notable improvement in the addition of more  green components of many building projects beyond energy efficiency and included the addition of more certified buildings and more building types (particularly retail) being certified as green buildings.   LEED and BREEAM continue as the most widely used international green building rating systems in the Romanian market.

Building owners and project developers with completed green building projects - which must include the issuance of the final Energy Performance Certificate - are invited to upload their project information into a Construction21.eu case study for consideration for inclusion in the next edition.
