It’s a fact, energy transition is at the agenda. Throughout Europe and around the world, governments, actors of the economy and simple citizens are
already considering the transition as an urgent necessity. However it should go beyond just energy. Comfort, health, biodiversity, water, carbon emissions are equally important factors.
Designing and building while taking account of those multiple factors push the construction forward, encourage architects, engineers, contractors, industrials to innovate for a better
future and as environmentally friendly as possible.
The Green Building Solutions Awards exist to bring those innovators under the spotlights and reward their approaches, their inventiveness and flexibility. By promoting their buildings and their solutions, Construction21 wishes to inspire all actors of sustainable construction to allow the dissemination of best practices, new techniques, systems and materials.
Metropolitan Solutions, the place where innovation prevails, hosts this year’s edition of our European contest. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to announce the winners.

Introduced by Véronique Pappe, Construction21 and Steven Borncamp, Construction21 co-Directors, and Luc Minne, Construction21 Belgium Director, the Green Building Solutions winners unvealed their innovative solutions and their approaches in front of the Metropolitan Solutions audience, in Hannover, on April 10.
